Dry glass packing type ESS
Braided packing from glass textured yarn from glass, type E. As a result of using a relevant strand and texture, a flexible packing with a substantial quantity of air trapped between the fibers has been obtained. This phenomenon provided perfect thermal insulation as a result.
Application
This packing is intended for sealing chambers, dryers and furnaces of high temperatures. The high chemical resistance of glass fibers allows to use this packing in chemical devices and in outlet systems for hot flue gases and post-reaction gases. The packing is resistant to most aggressive chemical agents, except for fluorine, strong alkali and phosphoric and sulfuric acids.
